Default Water Pump for car intake

I have two trucks I'm working on getting parts for car intakes and in the process of trying to get the correct 97' Corvette water pump I ran accross another possible solution and plan to try it out later if time permits. For those of you who might have access to it right now, check it out. The water pump from an 07' GMT900 (NBS) looks like it might work with a car intake and yet have the pulley system for a truck. Take a look.

From the pictures it looks like it might fit, The only thing would be which throttle body is used.

In one of the older LS6 intake manifold swap threads, Speartech said that they were able to use the new truck water pump for a LS6 conversion only on trucks with cable driven TBs. It still won't clear the DBWs.

Interesting, that must have been a post I'd missed. I am planning to try to see how it fill fit on an L76 setup with car intake when I get home.

I have no idea what happened. It took about 10 minutes for the post to go through and yet I only clicked reply the one time . One of the mods can delete that for me if possible.
