Depends on your dealer's attitude. Technically, they have to show that the mod caused the part failure.

Ie; Headers caused cat failure, shift kit caused trans prob etc. Some dealers dont care. Mine has warrantied valve cover gasket leaks, transfer case axle leak. I have obvious mods but I have also bought a number of cars/trucks from them and have developed a good relationship.

Results may vary. I say just do what you want and damn the torpedoes.

PS, who's the babe?

by LAW they can't void any part of your warranty unless like said, its proven the part caused the failure.

what would be the chance that the shift kit would cause trans probs

if you put headers the warranty on the exhaust is gone if you put a shift kit don't tell them they will never know.if you put a cam in they have to prove the cam isd what blew the motor if that is what happens the rest the warrant should not matter
