Looking to go with Magnaflow Muffler - What size muffler should I go with? Did some searches and it seems everyone goes with 3'' in/out. I plan on just dumping it right after the muffler.

 

I am planning to run the same on my 2010 and my research has lead me to Magnaflow part #12589. Hope that helps.

 

Did either of you swap mufflers yet?

 

Yes. I ended up running the 11229 because it is shorter and I was told it would be more noticable. I have it dumped at an angle right before the axle and it sounds very good. It still isn't super loud but thats good for me since I may end up getting ARH long tubes and I don't want it to be deafening. I would say the resonance is minimal even with the dump.

I have the 12589, and it sounds awesome. Aggressive on WOT, nearly quiet as stock while cruising.
