Default WANT POWER and im a newbie

Hey was up guys, I'm from austin texas and i was just lookin on over from fullsize chevy.com and i want some advice on big power. i have a 2000 chevy silverado swb fleestside. it has a 4.8 liter and the only mods i have on it are the k&n fipk II and a flowmaster two chamber dual exit exhaust. i got my truck dynod and i got a messy 232 hp and 232 tq...but i guess you gotta start somewhere. specifically a want a sweet launch, better mid torque, and overall quickness. i would greatly appreciate the advice...oh and the truck came with the ls package so i'm not sure it it has posi can you guys tell? and the 4l60e has been rebuilt and the moter has 148,000 miles but runs great.
THANKS

How much money do you have, and how fast do you want to go?
