Jesse told me that he could pull more HP from a 5.3.... he mentioned that the 5.3 was very receptive to tuning. Go for it! You will be impressed with the difference.

Thats intresting, I had not heard that before.

I know mine pulls extremely hard on the top end compared to stock and even my previous tune.

im hopin to get one of jesse's tunes soon. i have a 99 so it wake my tired ol truck up quite a bit.

Jesse's tune is well worth it IMO.... He did an awesome job on it.. I love the tune!!!

I'm glad to hear people are getting excellent results from jesse's tunes. I plan to get one from him in the next few weeks. Can't beat the price.

yea ive been outta town for a week i got mine the 5th but i was outta town so now i gottta wait till tommorow to go to the post office and pick it up

Most dealerships around here frown upon aftermarket upgrades, and will usually try to trace any warranty problem back to that. There are other scanners besides the TechII that can clear the code and perform the crank relearn...the SnapOn scanner, EFI Live, HPTuners, LS1Edit, etc. If you can find a local shop with one of the above mentioned you should be able to get it done for you, probably for less than $40
