sorry for another exhaust question.

I'm going to add a magnaflow dual in/dual out muffler. i will get the muffler with the 3" inlet (to go over/on top of stock pipe).

but my question is the outlet size. 2.5" or 3"? i'll probably do a side exit infront of the rear wheel.

is 2.5" too restrictive for an lq9? would a 3" outlet lose too much? i probably wont do any major performance upgrades. i'm leaning towards the 2.5

i'd do 2.5, if for no other reasons than clearance and it's easier to bend, as well as find tips for. If you're doing true duals anyway you won't need larger than 2.5.
