What temp does GM set the Factory Fans to come on at? I have never had a problem with my fans and towing.

I think they come on at 197 or 199, thermostat opens at 195 I believe

My 05 factory settings: Fan 1 Comes on at 226 and off at 219. Fan 2 comes on at 235 and off at 227.

Thanks for the part # man. I've been searching this one out for a long *** time. I had no idea GM made a kit as this was exactly what I was looking for. Not to jack the thread, but do you know if this kit bolts right up to a non factory equipped 05'-up V8 truck.

slvr that is the part number for the transmission oil cooler not the engine oil cooler, just a fyi.

oooooooh, I thought you were talking about transmission cooler, which is why I said its an option on the 5.3Ls.

so yeah, someone did up the PN for the engine cooler.
