I am about to buy a volant ram air system for my 01' 4.8 silverado. Any thoughts?

 

I like mine, I do not have any problems with mine

 

i am thinking about getting one when i purchase my next truck. i like my K&N. but why not try something else. i know they are a little pricey, but if you can afford, why not. the older models didn't work as well. but i guess the new volant model is much better. do a search and i bet you will see alot of threads about the old and new volant. i think there was a thread just recently about volant

you might look at the pro cold.
todd@prodyno was running a sell on them recently and the turned some real high numbers

how do you have a k&n FIPK AND a Volant Ram Air?...not tryin to be a jerk off but i just don't know

 

I like mine. Clean install and performs much better than the K&N drop-in. Makes a deep sound under acceleration.

 

i have a k&n as you can see. volant makes a ram air tube set up for there systems. i purchased and installed one.






thus a volant ram air set up. yay i already know about the bumper. i did this just to see since i have another one sitting in the shed. i will make it look a lot better next time around i promise.
