Where does most of the lope come from? The LSA, or lift?

heres one through dual 14" magnaflow ,x pipe and no cats dumped

my present tune is a bit overtuned for this cam

I think the idle air is way too high
Im gonna take it back closer to stock and see if I cant get it to sound a little better

Yes and yes. The lope sound is caused by the exhaust valve opening earlier in the sequence of the valve timing events, either by increasing the duration or shorting the LSA for a given amount of duration. this cam on a wider LSA 114/116 would not have as much "lope" to it. also if you were to keep the same amount of LSA but reduce the duration of the exhaust lobe the "lope" would be less as well.

ahh, i'm not very good at quantifying anticipated results of bolt-ons or improvements. these trucks come from the factory with anywhere from 285-300hp at the flywheel. my results in sig are at the rear wheels. this is with the cam, tune, magnaflow 3"in/2.5" dual out, and e-fans. no headers or CAI. the tune was an inital tune and wasn't tested with cam. still need to tweak the tune a bit. it was pig rich in PE, like 10.5. believe there is another 25hp with just a good afr at 12.8-13.1. my pacesetters should be here tomorrow. i put the k&n 77 series on last night and i am ordering HPT in the next fews days. am planning another dyno session as soon as i get everthing installed and play with the tune a little.

damoncollins-can't wait to hear some sound bytes when it's in

I dont know about that
coming through that flowmaster it sounds badass
another thing I noticed is that
the lope gets better with a TC

as far as gains
I have no before/after dyno numbers but
mine picked up 3 tenths in the 1/8th
