what is the VIN code letter for a 6.0 L alum block eng.
was it in a Caddy Esc. ? 345hp

 

The internet says the LQ9 was a VIN "N". Was in anything from a Excalade, Sierra/yukon Denali from 05-06, Silverado SS and the Vortec MAX trucks.

But I think it's an Iron block still

The L76 was AL block from the G8, suburban, silverado, sierra. More than likely a 2500 version of the trucks or a special ordered dealio. Or the V-max trucks again.

VIN "Y" for silverado/sierra.
