What are the QCs running without nitrious?you know a few bolt-ons.Hemi's are about 1 second or more, slower stock for stock and bolt-on for bolt-on.Pretty good apples to apples comparison.

How do think a lot of the 4.8 boys feel? They dont spend the extra $500 for the 5.3 then spend $1500 trying to make it run like one.

Build your own VHO,find a low mile LQ9,shove a cam in it and drop it in.

That's pretty interesting Toe. We have the same type of mods and identical 1/4 mile numbers.

Q: Red

This may not be what you would do but what do you think you would run with say a 3k stall and tires?

Actually that's exactly what I want to do. I already have a Yank 3000 that I have yet to install. I would say a 13.9 on a good day with the stall. I need a better tune though.

Heh so it would seem. I probably got a few pounds on your truck, enough to make up the difference in Hp between the 5.3 and hemi. Race weight with me in the truck is 4850lbs, rolling on the 20's isn't helping much either.

Gonzo, I honestly haven't paid too much attention to what the QC's are running, if they had the same bolt on's I have, I would guess they'd be a couple tenths slower then me, sooo maybe 14.5?

Naaah. I'd rather try for the 9's w/ my camaro. My truck's just my DD / tow vehicle. well.. It started out being just that . I've had it less than 2 months and I've already dropped nearly $2k in aftermarkt junk to it. LMAO.
