Default Verdict on Corsa and Volant

Here are some time comparisons from stock and Corsa and Volant with the truck.

Remember the elevation is 4000ft. The first runs were at 12pm - 5pm @ 75-85 deg F. I had around a 1/4 tank of gas.

2nd time at track. 6pm - 11pm @ 85-95 deg F. I wasnt planning on running, so I had a full tank of gas.

Hope someone can give me some pointers and thoughts on this....

Also you can see the MPH on the right lane was not working for some reason.

Here is the NHRA correction table. Does this sound right?????

Air Temperature (° F)
Dew Point (° F)
Altitude (Feet)
Altimeter Setting (Inches Hg)
ET (sec)
Trap Speed (mph)

Your results:
Air Temp 87
Dew Point 41
Altitude 4000 (Ft)
Altimeter Setting 29.90 (In Hg)
Uncorrected ET 16.232 (sec)
Uncorrected MPH 85.594 (mph)

Corrected ET 15.34
Corrected MPH 90.59

Damn, that's enough altitude to make ya sick. I'm suprised you still had oxygen. LOL

Seriously though, your DA = 6797ft. above sea level according to the stats you gave above. That's insane compared to even a bad day at Sac.

Good run though considering what it woul dhave been had you been down by me. We'll have to get you down here at Sac and get you some real times bro.

sounds like a plan, hopefully I can make it down in SEP. Hey there is a big regional race here on Labor day weekend. You should head up this way.

I'd have to make some calulations to ensure I wouldn't break anything though. I can't remmeber what higher elevations do to boosted cars. LOL

If anything bust, I have a place we can put the sts until you fix the Z.lol

SLOW.....
I dont have the video loaded up yet, I can upload the vid to my computer but no sound. Hopefully I will have it figured out soon.

The corsa web site is a good representation of the sound. I think the sound is really awsome. Its not the loudest, but the quality is unmatched.

Cant imagine it with LT's, ORY, Cam, and Radix. I would have to say... pretty F#@*ing bad ***.

I'm trying to get as many sound clips as possible of both the B&B and the corsa. So far, this has been one of the hardest decisions I've had to make on mods. Both systems sound equally clean. Throw me a heads up if you get it working. Thanks.

i bought mine from hummer-parts.com for 480 shipped. They are a gm dealer too, so gm is backing the exhaust on warranty. I love the construction and quality. It is so quiet inside the cab, I forget I have an exhaust until I get out of the truck or floor it. My WS6 was so loud, so this is such a nice change. Loud outside, quiet inside. Corsa did good with this.

Here is what the Corsa sounded like on my T/A with heads/cam (the first set).

Don't mind the fact I had some trouble with the rev limiter and trying to get it to stop. LOL

It was VERY loud in person but very quiet on the highway considering I had had FLPs with no cats and heads/cam.
