Yeah, I asked about this thing earlier, because you never know...

Well, word is, it's about as useful as that Tornado thing. In other words, not.

Shame, but I think everything is worth investigating. Hell, who would've thought that a little air foil and the TB-bypass would be good for 5hp?

The time improvements they were touting on their web site would have meant that they would have had to add 70+ RWHP to all vehicles.

It was pretty apparent to me that they were snake oil salesmen, but some people bought the device, and TByrne was pushing them pretty hard. I was not very impressed with the whole affair. It doesn't surprise me that I haven't heard even a peep from anyone lately about it.
Oops, thought you said "King Cobra Induction", not "Velocity Stack."

Looks like they have more than one brand of oil....

I think you would pick up a small gas mileage increase with it due to smoothing-out the air flow through your TB. I don't think you would pick up any power, maybe 1-2 lb-ft of tq by virtue of increased air velocity.

i have it, and it didn't do much, it improved part throttle torque, and changed a little how it ran. it definatly smoothes out the throttle body, so i can't see it not working, in theory. but, would it even show up on a dyno? probably not, maybe a ft lb or two. they're claiming 15lbs, i doubt it. not worth the 50 bucks i spent. but i own it now. so i use it.

I bought one because it seems that it'll do the exact same thing as porting the throttle body-with no effort. I'm not expecting some huge gain, but it is easily reversible, where a ported TB is not.....
