haha, here's the pics of your setup ryan. I can't find your logs, but they're somewhere on one of my computers. I didn't get a before/after log because the intake was installed already when I tuned it, but the intake felt really good on a stock truck.

EDIT: here's the links, picasa isn't letting me link directly to pictures anymore

When u do, however, go to track - post b4 & after. I'd still like to know. Most seem to bash VaraRam, I'd like to know if this new setup will quiet naysayers.

I got nothing on those pics.

Yeah I've had a few PM's from some people on here giving their opinions of VaraRam, but they're just douche bags. They know who they are and their posts were deleted a while ago.

Honestly, I liked my K&N setup and didn't really see any reason to change. I gave this a shot and it really works. I'm not endorsing the product at all, and I'm not being encouraged to say good things about it either. I'm the kind of person that, if I try something and it works then I'll tell others about it. There's a few picky things that I didn't like, but that's why the one on my truck is a prototype. The new airbox fixed the few issues I was worried about.

yeah I just updated the post to include the links to the photos. I used to be able to reference the image from picasa, but I guess google doesn't like that anymore. Oh well.

The one that's on Ryan's truck is the same as the first one I had. That particular air box works awesome with the new body trucks because the scoops go left/right of the radiator in the front. The unit that I just installed is the one specifically designed for our trucks. I'll see if I can get a pic of the airbox this week if it stops raining, but in a nut shell the intake tubes attach right at the airbox instead of having the "wings" come off the triangular box. It's a much cleaner setup and requires a little less tubing. It also clears the PCM better.
