Default Are Used cams OK?

I have found the cam that i wanted for my 6.0 lq4. When i started to buy the cam i found a used one, would it be ok or do i need to go with a new cam?

The engine has bout 150k

I dont understand how people think used parts arent good enough to run!

I've been rocking a used cam for the past 40k miles, total cost for my cam swap was like $230, including new yellow springs lol

Do it.

Yes, our engines have roller lifters which are much easier on cams so going used shouldn't be a problem. Always inspect it before you throw it in though.

use cam here ...1st owner ran it for 5k miles then I bought and it looked great I dint give it a 2nd thought .....

All of mine cams have been used. Majority of cam swaps I've done for other people have been used cams.

Just make sure you get a picture or take a look at it somehow before spending the money. Anything that doesn't seem right probably isn't. But definitely if there aren't any problems with it, it'll work fine

i got mine with around 10k on it. been in the truck for about 30k with no problems. just make sure the journals and lobes are in good shape
