Question Upgrade over factory injectors, what ones?

From what I understand, my 2006 LQ9 has 26lb injectors from the factory.

Are there any ~30lb drop in replacements that will go in without any modifactions to the intake and/or wire harness?

What are you guys using?

My truck is stock and I'm at 85+% duty cycle!

Many use the 30#hr injectors from an 8.1L. They should be plug and play.

Cool!

Are their any sponsors that sell them or will I have to get raped by going to the dealer?

I haven't seen them from any sponsors, but I got mine on ebay for less than $100. The PCM will need to be retuned though...they'll bolt right in, but you'll run rich as hell since you'll still be tuned for the factory injectors. (8.1 gas engine injectors flow 31lb/hr, 8.1 marine injectors are 42lb/hr I believe). I wouldn't think that you'd need to replace the injectors on a stock engine though...once you start modding and upgrade the cam, heads, etc., then replacement may become necessary.

Yeah, I'm going to add some mods in the future: cam, MIT, catback.
