Default Upgrade Longtubes

I currently have Stainless Works Long tubes and catted y-pipe on my truck right now. At the time is was the only stainless system available that would fit my truck. I need stainless due to me living in the northeast. They have 1-3/4" primarys with 2-1/2" collectors into the aforementioned 2-1/2" catted y-pipe. Would I benefit in going to a 3" collector system like the one from American Racing Headers? Would I lose any low end? All my mods are in my signature. Any help/opinions would be appreciated.

I would stick with what you got... I'm making over 400 hp/tq to the wheels with 2.5" collectors and a shady Y pipe.

Sounds good to me. When I purchased the headers, Stainless Works told me that these headers would support around 500 crank HP. I would tend to believe them since you are making 400+ HP/TQ at the wheels.

And think of what you could pick up with an optimized exhaust setup.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the ARH system. It's easily the best I've used.
