I have about 1300 miles on the new tires so far and have driven on several types of roads, and have been in some of the heaviest rain I have EVER seen. I must say I am impressed with these things. The dry traction is great. Just yesterday I was going to show out in front of a couple punks standing near the street next to a 4dr hemi, so I stomped it from about a 20mph roll and they let off a low pitched squall and I was outta there !! I used to think the Generals did a good job, but these things considerably better.

I finally got them myself. i got the 265/70/16 and they wont brealk now. If i nail it from a dead stop a small chrip but no more 30-50' burnouts like the old 255 generals. Been in some bad rain and they never hydroplained I am diffenetly glad i got them and you cant beat the price. Mine cost 420 out the door.

I just put a set on about 3 weeks ago and they are nice. They are the spotiest looking tire I saw for our trucks. I didnt get the stock size I got the wider ones. I have 19k on my truck and I had to get new tires because the wranglers were gone I mean no tread(that model wrangler sucked. I got them because they looked better than the Generals) For around $80 each and being a 55,000 mile tire I will keep buying them! They worked very very nice at the track!

I am hoping to go to the track this Thurs and see how they do. Last year I was able to go 8.2x in the 1/8th with a 1.99 60ft on the Generals. These Firestones feel better on the street but the timeslips will tell the true story...
