Default upd and smog...

this applys to cali members by the way...

do u think the black upd will get overlooked by the smog place? i mean it looks stock.

i know its easy to just put the stock one back on, but will it pass?

I have no idea what the smog laws are in cali. I don't see why it would not pass though.

because in cali u have to have "smog carb #'s" on all ur aftermarket stuff, or else they wont pass it. when a product is made by a company they have to pay to get it carb approved, its a cheapass way for the state to make money basically. they use enviromental problems as the excuse to why it needs to be "carb approved".

It should be fine, visually the black one looks like a stocker and they probably won't even notice it. Mu Volant CAI has a CARB number on it to comply.

Just find a friendly shop that doesn't look at rediculous things like that. Take the stock lid and tube and throw it in the back and say "It's in the truck" LOL!
