Default Twin screw Eaton

Supposedly the new SVT Fords (05 Cobras and Lightnings) are going to have an Eaton built twin screw blower. Anyone know anything else about this. I would be nice to see a twin screw Radix.

From what I understand Eaton now builds Whipple's twin screw superchargers.

Eaton builds the roots type blowers on the SVTs now. The Twin screw type such as in the whipple or Kenny Bell are built by Lycholm (spelling). A
twin screw would be a first for eaton.

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the Eaton twin screw.

If you look in the supercharger catalog on Whipple's website they say it is a Eaton/Lysholm compressor.I think Eaton builds them under a licinsing agreement.Probably in anticapation of an OEM contract with Ford.

From what I got from reading and talking to ppl, the new Radix blower is a combo between the roots and the screw. The rotors are twised so that is gives boost like the roots type, but has the effeciency of the twin screw.

the Radix is a still a roots, its a little more efficient, the twisted rotors limit the pulsation the straight rotors cause. Eaton does have liscences for screw compressors, and the Ford GT and the MB's are going to use the twin screw compressors, the GT's is a 2.2 or 2.3L displacement. I wouldn't be suprised if its an Eaton unit.
