i see what you are saying, let me put in my .02

each component seems to be prety high quality, the materials they use are of a high quality. the kit came with all t bolt clamps, the inter cooler, waste gate, bov, and turbo and all very nice stuff. the header design and build quality looks great to me.

i think up to a point they really tried to make a top quality kit. then about 3/4 of the way thru they got in a hurry and just sent it out the door.

with a basic kit on a 2wd the kit would be much less of a hasle than it was for me.

the performance is awsume. i am prety sure on a cool day i could hit an 11.99 on pump gas and a mid 11 on better gas. with a built motor i think i can get a little ways into the 10's on boost only. like i said before i would order the kit again. i am having that much fun with it but it isn't anything like a radix where you bolt it on and drive for a few years.

Ryan,
I had posted a few times that I would release a turbo truck kit in June. Currently the kit is not for sale by mail. We are starting on the third kit installed at our shop. We are offering installed kits now on 2002 and up PU's.

I have multiple reasons for not offering the kit for retail sale.
1. Still have knock retard issues with cal, = no cal to send with kit. We can cal trucks on one-off basis.
2. Still have some parts being made. Kits installed now have hand fabbed intercooler end tanks, core box for castings still being made.
3. Still have never installed kit on 2wd although it should fit fine.

I will bring a truck to N vs S to run in bracket race if anyone wants to see the kit.

Parish, sorry to keep buggin you but last question. I want something somewhat reliable and quick. In Florida I feel I need an intercooler desperately and that is one of my main reasons to switch. At a reasonable boost level, say 10-12 psi do you think the kit would last for a while? I think I will call CM and see what they have to say. Anyone know why Seth left?

Thanks for everyone's help !

i dont know what is up with seth but i was under the impresion he was part owner so it is a prety major change around there.

it sounds like you want the kit prety bad like i did, if you had a 2wd i would tell you to call them up and order it. since you have a 4wd i doubt they would even take your money. as far as i know the problems i had with the cross over and wastegate hiting the shock tower haven't even been looked at yet but i could be wrong.

if you call them up post up and tell us what they say. i hope sam is more realistic with timelines than seth was.

grrrrr!!! more BS

i mentioned my header is cracking, talked to sam last week about it, he said he would find out how long to get a replacement and get right back to me. he never called back. i call him back today and he is gone for the WEEK. His guy there knows nothing about the kits or the header maker. says there is nothing he can do.

I got prety frustrated and told him exactly what is going on here on this site, people talking about the kit and wanting to order it and me sharing nothing but the truth about my experiences. I also told him if i go thru 2 years of hell with this kit that most likely sales will be lost, maybe alot of sales. he says there is nothing he can do. i am hanging for another week and the crack is geting worse.

just for the record i have people email and im me every day wanting info about this kit, sometimes several emails a day. i try not to slam them, i only tell the truth and today the truth is not prety.

That's why so many people here respect your opinions Mate.

You are very non-biased in those opinions and pretty much shoot the truth about your experiences with a product. I respect that kind of stuff man

Sorry to hear about that man.

I think the best business move CM could've ever made was talk to you once a week and bend over backwards to keep YOU happy. YOUR experience with them will make or break them.
