Off topic, I know, but that also comes into play when chosing the direction you want to go.
after looking at my post it kind of looks like i am just pro turbo. thats not exactly how i feel. the radix's best features are that it is a complete OEM quality kit. clean and dependable and nice power gains. a great set up for anyone looking to just bolt on 100+hp and enjoy it for years.

right now there is only one company selling front mounted kits, livernoise or something like that. there is progress being made at cmotorsports but i wouldn't want to estimate a release date.

nothing wrong with being pro turbo, imo.

I've always wondered why you went with a turbo over centrifugal?

i am strongly anti centrifugal. seems to me there a there no real benifits for that type of kit at all. you have belt slip, belt drag, extreme lag or need for a large stall. pullys to change. i can think of more but i have to run for now.

I agree, I think that unless you are going for a full-on racing application, a centrifugal has the worst of both worlds - the lag of a turbo with the parasitic loss of a supercharger. Considering you only make good boost at 3000 RPMs and above, the only use I would have for a centrifugal would be for a strictly 1320 vehicle.

must be the 6 rib serpentine belt. a cog belt set-up would make a difference, sept I don't think anyone makes a full conversion. Although Starr Performance has an interesting cog/serpentine combo that might work well, but, that's for a whipple.

Live and learn I guess. I contemplated putting my kit on Ebay and starting from scratch, but I dont want that much work. Im going to work with what Ive got and upgrade headunits. The T trim is a more efficient blower and I plan on starting with 12-14# to start, but that will be on a larger motor. Im curious to see how it stacks up to F8L and Parish turbo setups since I'll probably go with a 408 as well, but with a 4L65. We will see what the new year brings.

Without having to call ATI (which is a real pia), do they make an 8 rib system for our trucks?

SDCE has an 8 rib tensioner setup for the LS1 cars. Im not sure if it will work with the trucks. I was hoping to get them on the phone and find out if they have something for my setup.

That's the 1 thing i hate about ATI. Their website is horrid and calling them is damn near pointless. BUT, you gotta do what you gotta do. I'll be on the phone tomorrow.
