tuff spark plug

Default tuff spark plug

I bought a fresh set of NGK TR55s,This morning I tossed them in,went real quick except the last one,back passenger side.The SOB was tight coming out,once I started it,I thought WTF,its coming out even if it pulls all the threads with it and it kind of felt like it did.I got lucky as hell,the last 1/3 I finally was easy to turn,didnt hurt a thing and the new one went right in.Do you guys use antiseeze on your plugs?

i use it on mine, and they come out super easy.

just a small dab of it works fine.

I have changed mine 3 times and damned to hell that spark plug on the passenger side closest to the firewall. Its a son-b to get to but all mine came out easy once I get them broke and I havnt used any anti seeze.

make sure you use anti seize.

I did use anti seeze both times,maybe not enough the first time and being they were in there over 30K miles and 2 years or so.

I usually use anti-sieze except for today when I changed plugs between runs at the track (forgot anti-sieze at home ) Probably gonna pull em back out this week and put a little dab on all of the threads.

yes, and if they are tight i spray penetrating fliud on it, and let the car run for a little bit

once i had 2 turns on it ,started it for a few minutes,it was still tough.

ALWAYS use anti-seize on anything goin g into alumnium!
