Default TSP PRC Stage 2.5 Heads and 224r Cam

I'm fairly new to this site and was wondering about this package in a '04 rcsb step side 5.3. I know I would have to get a tune and a new stall converter but just wanted to see if anyone was running this on their truck and how they liked it.

the prc heads have netted a lot of people great results. that 224r cam is also proven. i would run a 32-3600 stall with that combo. it shoud put you in the 12's with traction

no need to change out lifters and rockers... but, you are pulling the heads, couldnt hurt to switch out your for LS7 lifters.. your rockers are fine, dont bother or waste your money... your gonna need new springs and pushrods forsure..

Yeah, the kit from TSP includes pushrods and springs, ill most likely be adding this set up this summer along with a transgo and some vette servos until I get the money to buy a performabuilt or monster tranny

You already have long tubes? That should be a stout setup.

, but most people here advise to steer clear of the Monster tranny... Performabuilt has a good reputation here, as well as FLT.
