Default True Duals - True Overkill?

Running a 5.3, looking at stage TPS stage 2.5 heads, a fairly decent cam (215/223 .604/.610 112LSA or 219/227 .607/.614 112LSA)

I don't think I have any plans of doing FI on this motor.. basically, should I get the LTs and run a ORY, or should I run the true duals?

Yeah, they're comp LSr series, the two smallest they have.

The TSP heads come loaded with dual springs that max at .650... I figure why not use it?

That is a pretty big split are those cams intended for L92 heads?

I have true 2.5" duals on the LS1 Avalanche, honestly I think it lost some power after the true duals.

First set up was a GM Performance cat back that had 2.75" pipe and a straight through muffler (catback made by Borla) and it felt like it was choking it on the high end.

If I redo the exhaust it will probably be a single 3"

those are some nice heads, TSP has one hellva CNC program for all there heads, they flow well, id keep it tight on the duration something like a 220s/224 even 222/228 4* would be perfect then usefull with a small shot of NOS the lift is fine, but id keep it straight something like a 612/612

as for those big splits, once upon a time alot of companies thought ratherly large splits worked well with l92 heads, they probably do but in stock form, i been running the heads for a couple of years now, yah there hogged out and flow better than any head ive seen or used, but i run a tight duration cam with a widen lsa. like 235/239 with a 621 lift when i was running the stock 6.0

as far as exhaust id go 3" with a Y pipe!! should be way plenty for ya even lots of room for upgrades.

you on a 90 mm intake and tb? i must have missed it if you are?

Im running the Ls-R 227/235 .614/.624 113LSA in my 6.0L. It pulls really hard from about 3800 rpm up.

I dont think duals would be over kill. There are plenty of guys running dual 3" on here with fairly mild 6.0's and they are screamers!

dude i got my truck from had 3" true duals ran on my now 4.8, talk about overkill and performance stopper. It sucks. About to install some LPP headers and y and will be running a 22" magnaflow to back it up.
