True duals

I am thinking about gettin true duals, and taking my y pipe out, I've herd something about cat back exhaust, what exactly is the difference between true duals and a cat back exhaust.

Cat back means just from the cat back to the muffler. So if u install a car back exhaust the muffler comes with new piping as well
