Default True dual exhaust guys running magnaflow mufflers, can you come on in here?

Ok, Next week I'm getting my 3" true dual setup installed and I'm needing to fit some mufflers. I already know I want to go with the Magnaflow universal oval mufflers, but what I'm wanting to know is how big can I go? Ideally I'd like to fit the 2 largest mufflers under the truck I can. For those of you who aren't familiar with my truck it is a regular cab, shortbox.

Does anyone know if I can mount (2) magnaflow 5in x 11in x 22in side by side? Part Number: 12589

Or would it be easier to fit (2) 4 x 9 x 18 mufflers Part number: 11259

If not either of the 2 mufflers listed above, what 2 magnaflow mufflers are you guys running on your true dual setup?

i've got true dual turbos welded in right (and i mean immediately) after the gap between the bed and the cab. IIRC they are 4 * 9 * 18 and I have plenty of clearance. i think you could easily fit some that are 5 inches thick.

No DI/DO muffler for me, part of me upgrading my exhaust is keeping the pipes separate. I like the sound So you guys think I can get 2 of the 5 x 11 x 22's in there and just turn them upright and side by side? I'm going for quiet and deep here so the bigger the muffler the better. I'm also going to run (2) 14" straight through round mufflers right at the tips to eliminate the resonance. Should be a nice setup

No x pipe for me. I want the true separated sound. I'll give up the 5 horsepower before the sound

Sound? What sound? with all those mufflers and those nice long mufflers there will not be any sound coming from your truck!

Are you just replacing from the mufflers back?
I think you'll be happy with that set up.

I was going with something similar. But, with the "help" of my wife I have decided to go with a 12568 DI/DO muffler. Its a bit larger but with the headers new cats and 2.5" tubing it should sound good, that and being an SUV I dont want any drone inside the cab. I dont want to drive my family nuts, lol.

I have a rcsb dual 3 in dual 3 out, and I bought a Magnaflow 12599. I have not hooked it up yet, but they sound good fromother peoples sound clips. Hopefully I can get it going soon.
