can i just get a good cam for gas? wouldnt mind a good rough idle but would like something that wont need a comp tune. not good at cam numbers and such but if u guys get these cams going i would like some help from someone on what kinda cam would be good for a 4.8 on gas. not concerned about running fast on motor....would rather be on gas

Are they all going to have to be the same specs? I may be in if I can get one at 22x/22x 56x/56x specs or something.

good luck guys. You guys should do hardened pushrods too. The stock ones are pretty week. Adding a cam you know you will want to rev it higher. You dont need 918s with a .530 lift (so I have learned) I think I am getting KR from those springs pulling the valve back into the head so hard and the knock sensors hearing it as detonation. I'd go with 2002 LS6 springs.

We will definitely keep everyone up to date on the special. We will most likely offer it as a cam sale instead of a GP. If any of you have specific questions between now and then, feel free to e-mail Jason at jason@texas-speed.com or me at trevor02ss@yahoo.com. We're looking to cater to the LS1 trucks just as much as the LS1 cars! We'll put some specs together and post 'em up prior to ordering them. That way we can get everyone's input prior to the sale and offer exactly what all of you are wanting.
