Will trick flow 485 kit be good on 2001 2500HD w/ LQ4. Truck is bone stock has 6" lift w/ 35" swampers w 4.10's. looking for drivability. The gas mileage sucks so I might as well have some power.

 

I beleieve those kits are rated for an LS1 with 10.5:1 compression ratio. but I think they would be fine for your truck.

those are pretty much the best heads out there.

I was looking at the 515hp kit and then having them milled to go on my 5.3, IF I get a good tax return.
