transmission wont upshift

transmission wont upshift

Has anyone ever had this problem.
My 1998 gmc Z-71 if I floor it it wont upshift from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd.
But if I don't floor it it shifts with no problem at all.
The transmission doesn't slip.
Need your help.

Make sure your MAF is clean. Dirty sensors will cause a loss of line pressure at WOT and you wont shift right.
