i talked to runwalk about it and he is going to have my ECT checked out. i was just wondering if anybody else has had this happen to you. i hope it is not from the servo or even the cooler i put on. it shouldnt be though.

Do you think it is due to the HPP3 on your PCM? If I remember correctly yours had some error and is permantly attached...

speaking of....just recently (when it finally got cold here) my TC does not lock up until it is up to operating temperatures ~160-180 degrees. When it warms up, then it works fine. Is this the same thing you are talking about?

Does anybody know which temperature is used to enable the trans hot/cold mode? Is it coolant temp or trans temp?

basically it is just shifting gears later than normal at part throttle. wont shift into 3rd until about 30 and 4th about 40mph. this doesnt happen all the time though. like today it was like 65* and still doing it while i was driving for over 45mins. so i know my temp was up. plus my fans were completly turned off.

Mine does it to when temps below 50 on mirror thermo.shifts perfect once I reach 160.

I remember reading in the Owner's Manual that this was a feature to help heat the engine up quicker when it was cold outside so you would gain use of the heater sooner. It should begin shifting normal after everything warms up though.

Can you ATAP it and see what your tranny temps are?
