Transmission abuse mode???'s
How do you disable the transmission abuse mode and any other abuse modes that are in LS1Edit?
The problem I am having is when I get down on the truck it starts to shift very hard during normal driving. This only happens after I get on it hard. Has anyone ever experienced this? Since I've installed the cam, it not only wants to shift extremely hard but idles up also.
Do you guys know what to adjust in LS1Edit to cure this?
Or I'll just have to drive like a grandpa from now on!

Damn! was I typing in a foreign language or something? I really need help with this tuning issue. I see at least 53 people don't know a damn thing about what I'm talking about!

In the transmission table, the second tab I think it is has some of the setting. Open up the table in the Abuse Mode box and 0 it out. That should take care of the tranny abuse modes.
The rest are on the ignition tab of the engine set.

I don't know about Edit, but in HPT, you can simply turn it off with "True / False" buttons...
For some added 'warm and fuzzies' you can zero out the "Trans Abuse Mode Torque Reduction vs RPM" table. I left mine in place after turning it off via the "False" button.

Ok guys, I'm about to give what ya'll said a try. Appreciate the info.
Does anyone know how to tame the high idle, when I let off the accelerater the idle doesn't want to drop past 1500 till I stop. Then it drops to 800 but I have idle set to 600. I believe these adjustments are made in the throttle cracker but which way and what do I adjust.
Thanks again you too. I would have thought alot more people on here knew alot more about these trucks, just going by the number of views of this post.
