Default Trans Temp Gauge Hole

Has anyone ever tried to install a gauge into the factory trans temp gauge hole? I mean it has room to fit a factory gauge, why cant the hole be cut and cleaned out on the 1500’s that don’t have the gauge.

I wont to install an air/fuel gauge and make it look factory; anyone try it?

Yes there is room to install a 2-1/16" gauge in the factory trans temp gage hole. I use to have a VDO boost gauge installed in that location but took it out & replaced it with a autometer air/fuel gauge when I had a full pillar gauge pod installed. I have some pictures of the gauges in my picturetrail album.

That's rather stealthy eh Parish? I don't know if I could live without that vent down here in the TX heat.

You have got some big nads if you go sliceing and dicing on that PCB in the gauge cluster!

It would be kinda hard to do the 03's since they aren't round.
