Default Trans go or B&M Trans pak

What are the difference between the two of these shift kits. And where is a good place to order these from. I am looking to get these for a gift. 4L60E trans

TransGo

It is much more in depth than the B&M kit. It fixes several things in the tranny.

Rebuilds the VB, adjustable. Boost valve, heavier springs for the intermediate apply servo, etc, etc.

Buy both and compare them, you'll see the TransGo is a superior setup.

I use the Cheapass DexIII/Mercon from the auto parts store. I change it every 10K mi as it's $1.20/qt here. Syn ATF is bad in the 4L60E and it's expensive. It's too slippery for us.

Better shifts as compared to what? No shift kit or the B&M? Get your line pressure back to OE once you install the TransGo setup. I can grab second with my Z71 and 33" tires at WOT BUT I also have a billet intermediate servo and billet OD servo that really firm up the shifts too...

i have a custom built tranny and they used the trans go in it.along with the 9 clutch packs. that should say something about them.
