Tranny is now slipping bad on hard acceleration. How long till its toast?

Theres a Local shop here in tx that I use and help out at as well as use to work that builds a beefed up 4L60E thats held up behind a customers truck thats pretty quick faster then most of you. If ur interested in gettin in contact with the owner let me know and yes the tranny does have a warranty on it.
