Do the 243 heads make a big difference on the NNBS trucks?

i think mid 14s is definetely achievable.. i went 14.8 with the 4.8 and same mods except cam.... bolt on 4.8 with 3000 stall, headers, in a ext cab with 4.10s.... on 26 inch drag radials.... i think small tires are the key part... because i could only do 15.3 with the 31.2" tires/ 20" rims....

Surely he could run with my SSS if he has a cam? All I had was a mild tune (PE added, shift points changed) a drop in muffler, and HD-2 shift kit with vette servo and an AEM CAI and ran a 14.30. My truck should weight the same since it's AWD and surely the cam would bring the power levels on the 5.3 up to the 6.0. Once we went deeper into the tune I know I picked up some time but I haven't been back to the track.
