Are you just using your street tires or did you get some slicks? Slicks will help drastically even if you don't have caltracs, well at least they did for me. Good luck and I hope you have good results.

just my street tires thats all I got, for now

I'm looking at tomorrow as a learning experience more than anything else, I'm sure I'll have some butterflys and such, so I'll just take the day one step at a time.

btw, with the extra 4 quarts of tranny fluid, it takes forever for it to reach 160deg I have a larger tranny cooler, not sure I'll need it, tomorrow will tell.

Just don't drive past the staging lights when you are staging. I've seen guys drive thru them and back up and try to put their rear tires in the lights.

I would love to see someone do that the best I've gotten is the guys who only set off the first stage and sit there with everyone yelling at them.

You are definately going to hurt with just street tires. I went 14.79 @ 97 on street tires. Then deleted torque management, added slicks and went 13.45 @101. So I highly recommend at least dumping the TM since you don't have access to slicks. What kind of times are hoping for?

I'll probably just watch the first hour or so, we have all day and theres only 80 of us. Maybe oxidizer can help me out a bit but I'm guessing he'll be plenty busy.

Have fun Dev, wish I could be there with you. If it's anything like last time, you'll get to see a few Viper owners (with more money than driving abilities) introduce their cars to the wall....

Good luck!
