Jerome, just about any cam vendor. Tell them what you want and they should be able to have it cut. If your having troubles deciding what lobes you want, take a look at the cam thread at the top of this form. I think lobes from Comp, Crane, and Cammotion are listed.

Hey Jake, thought this was interesting. I gave cammotion the exact same application list as I had given Ed. Cammotion specs came out being 224/224 .58/.58 114+4 or something to that nature. Can't remember exactly... was a while back.

Vinci has one, #066, called the "Stangbanger", specs are 220/224 .551/.551 114. They have it listed on their car cam page, but not the truck page. I actually started a thread asking about it but nobody really had any positive input in reference to it.

I wanted to throw in another variable that we haven't touched on yet...advance ground in. Seems it's pretty common that alot of the available cams for the GENIII engines have about 4* of advance. If I'm not mistaken, this may have something to do with why there's alot of single pattern grinds...doesn't advancing the cam make it a little exhaust bias?

With as much timing as allan puts into his tunes you are probably getting the most out of it your gonna get. Either way, if you go any leaner, you will definately have to drop some timing, and if you are planning on spraying, you are gonna have to drop some timing also.

i disagree, you get it to 12.7 you won't detonate, with the same timing.

i talked to allen over on ls1truck and he said it's runnin a lil on the rich side. he told me the a/f ratio could be a tad leaner, but where it's at now, i can beat on the truck all day long with no problems.

Timing and fuel can go hand in hand sometimes. I have witnessed this just a few days ago tuning my truck on a loaded mustang dyno. add timing, a/f ratio gets leaner, subtract it, and a/f ratio gets richer. this was also with the wideband in the extra 02 bung just below the header. I dont know what to think about unloaded dynos and the readings they give anymore. All detonation cant be heard by the ear over loud exhaust and noisy valvetrains after modifications.
