Default TPS Power Supply

What fuse is the one that supplies power to the TPS? I had a bad connector that I fixed before and now the TPS reading were erratic while moving the wires. So I replaced the plug (not the sensor)with one from the autowreckers. I crimped and heat shrunk them and now the TPS reads 0 all the time no matter what position the blade. So I went to the manual and it said that the grey wire should have 5 volts. Well I have nothing for a reading, so I wiggled the wire and no change which leads me to believe that I blew a fuse.

I redid all the connectors after testing with an ohm meter and now it works. I don't understand what went wrong. I used a bare connector(no plastic covering), crimped both ends and shrink wrapped it.
