Default Towing with power adder question

So I picked up another nnbs single cab Im going to use to tow my polaris and toy hauler. Should be under 7k lbs. Ive already got a built 14 bolt, trac bars, helper bags, distribution hitch, 3.73 gears w 33's. I know this sounds strange but its a th400 trans. Anyhow, I tow through alot of mountains so im between turbo, whipple, or procharger. Right now Im leaning toward procharger. Thoughts?

My choice would be whipple with a tight converter.

Put a whipple on it for stump pulling power
Put a pro charger on it for high rpm power
Put a turbo on it if you want everything to play nice

how tight are you thinking? Its a 5.3. Ive been talking to circle d, They have a perfect one picked out i just need to get back to them with a stall speed and cam choice.

I forgot to ask you, why is there a TH400 in the truck? Is this a retired drag truck?

No more than 2400-2600. Youll be making a lot of heat when you load it up with weight and power. A loose converter is difficult to control towing at low speeds, ends up being very jerky.

Tighter the better... no overdrive is one thing but no converter lock up is another totally. Whatever your predicted cruise rpm is... pick a stall below that.

Im still considering the 4l80 and going with 4.56's. If I could just get a clear answer on a 4l80 and mp3023 tc working together Id prob go that route. Im lost on tuning and wiring to get it to work.
