in short Tqm retards the ignition once the ecu senses that your putting much power to the trans. I dont think there is a way to remove it, I know with Ls1 Edit, you can reduce it, but i dont think itll ever go away. Richard seems to have the best times, and makes alot of power via N20. I know hes good to talk to about it.

When my truck was completely stock the tq mgmt was brutal.

I have been noticing that ever since the Gibson exhaust and the HPP3 that I hardly ever notice the tq mgmt anymore.

I'm wondering if something is wrong LOL

I just push the tow/haul button on the shifter. It turns off the TM and raises my shift points.

the only way to get rid of the TQ M. is to edit the values with ls1edit or something similar. the button doesn't turn it off.

Ok maybe I was a little off with my last post since nobody bought it so here is a direct quote. "When the vehicle is hitched to a trailer, the driver may activate the tow/haul mode by pressing a button on the shift lever. This makes the transmission's shift pattern much more aggressive by lengthening the time between gear shifts and making the shift itself much quicker. At part-throttle, for example, the first gear shift will occur at 22 mph in tow/haul, versus 10 mph when in normal operation.

Tow/haul not only reduces wear and tear on the transmission, it reduces stress on the driver because it requires fewer and less aggressive throttle inputs while driving in stop-and-go conditions. When the optional Autoride suspension is ordered, a push of the tow/haul button adjusts both the transmission and the suspension to better manage heavy trailering".
