LMAO, I need some headlight fluid too. Mine ran out and I can't see at night now. We are all sold out at Auto Zone! Back on topic, we sell the Tornadoes at Auto Zone and I have told several people not to buy one if that tells you anything. I have no personal experience with them just have heard a lot of bad things and logically it wouldn't help anyway on the Vortec engines. If you are gonna do anything like that at all do like me and buy a used throttle body spacer for much cheaper just for the hell of it. I bought mine just to hear the neat whistle when you get in the throttle. It would probably even help more than the tornado and will keep you entertained for hours.

You may be surprized but I think v8 (kevin) gained 4 hp on the dyno so I guess it does work. Let the flaming begin now...Zed

I thought about a spacer but I can't hear much over the exhaust anymore. I already removed the little bladder that hangs off the stock intake tube. That gave me a little more sound to listen to before the Flowmaster.

And I guess the throttle body spacers don't offer much of an improvement either, huh?

(Still new to the Vortec engine performance stuff. I'm used to '96 and older stuff)

Kind of off topic but if you want to pick up some real rwhp on the dyno then take your filter off of your CAI- it was good for 1rwhp! Thats right-beware!

Nope, the spacers dont add much either. I would think moreso than the tornado but still nothing really noticable. I just like the sound of it.

Throttle body spacer have LOST power on some dynos due to retaining heat. Your beter off with a few well placed stickers if you want one or two HP.

Lube the steering with relative bearing grease for quicker slalom times.

I have had one for a couple of years and I seem to recall a slight increase, but I had also made some adjustments to my custom intake tube at the same time. If you got 5hp it would probably be a miracle but this thing is definitely not worth $70!! I paid less than that for mine!
