I just didn't have the sense to back off of it, and I know he was waitin' for it to shut off! I won't be doing it again anytime soon as I too remember that thread, and it haunts me to this day!

WORD. I shut it down at 5500 rpms also. All I know is that it took a while slowing down for my Esky cluster to drop from being pegged at 120 mph. Its also got alot of wind noise at that speed.

Hella wind noise. Does anyone elses mirrors start to vibrate at about 125? The only way i knew i was going that fast then is because i was running beside my buddys 99 Z28 and his spedo was pegged. But now with the CarChip i can see exactly how fast i can hit.
