well im gonna be puttin in a cam for my bday, while doing this should i put in new hardend push rods and lifters etc. while i have it all apart for the cam? im also still deciding on what cam to go with. im eventually goin with the radix I, but i wanna do all the little stuff first. and any ideas on what push rods and lifters to go with? around what price am i lookin at for the upper motor mods? i have 1200 bucks and im guessing that should be enough?

 

$750 ought to do it. With the Radix the LPE GT2-3 is a winner. A good spring set and hardened push rods and you are set. No need to change lifters. Patriot duals or Comps 918s are the forum favorite springs.

Hmm, it's been years! You can buy them direct from LPE but there may be a sponsor that will sell the package cheaper. Somebody will chime in by morning.
