I think I can hook up one of those straws to the nozzle and then stick it in the TB, but have the can up above the TB area so my hand wont be near the fan.

Leave well enough alone and the money in your pocket. Something tells me if you do this that you're going to end up breaking something. You usually don't have good luck with these things.

Don't get your panties in a wad because I've called you out on things in the past when you spoke with no experience. I did the seafoam application in the past with no problems whatsoever, I just don't think it worked all that well for several reasons discussed above.

No matter what discipline one is dealing with when there is a problem, it's best to eliminate potential causes stepwise. I've ruled out gaskets or spark as a problem. The cleaner costs like $7, it's no big deal. It's not going to hurt anything. Since it foams up unlike seafoam, it's nearly impossible to hydrolock the engine.

In the future please refrain from posting in any of my threads. Thank you.

I'd try logging your truck with the cats disconnected before I tried top end cleaning it (assuming that you're doing the service to try and eliminate knock from carbon hot spots as a possibility.) From the way you've been describing it, it sounds like your cats are partially clogged...

Wouldn't seafoaming and top end cleaners with cats cause more of a prblem then anything? I'm just thinking if it blows all the carbon and crap out would it not help stop the converters up more? I may not know what I'm talking about but it just seems like it would too me

I suppose it's possible, but this is the same cleaning all the dealers do on cars all the time.

How many people on here do you think trust the dealership? The only time people go there is to try and get free warrantied stuff. I know I would never trust my truck in the hands of a dealership.
