Took the truck to the track again!

Started off with worse weather than my first lone stock run a week ago which was a 2.31 60 foot 15.50 at 90mph and dynoing 245rwhp.
Added the UPD intake, hypertech tuning descreened MAF and dynoed 253rwhp. Made fisrt few runs and got 15.51 at 89.7mph (2.33 60), 15.49 at 89.99mph (2.33 60). I was kinda disappointed. The shift points on the HPP were set a little high and shifting at 6200rpm from 1-2 so I dropped it down a point and made a run at 15.40 at 90.2mph(2.31 60). Decided to unhook the exhaust from the ypipe real quick which showed a 7rwhp gain on the dyno. Basically just let the stock exhaust hang freely. She sounded good and pulled two 15.36's at 90.9mph (2.31 60's)
The trcuk is real consistant but these gains are weak! Just though I"d pass the info though.

Yeah, that seems kinda disappointing. How's the A/F ratio look with those changes? Maybe you need to tweak it a little. Are you getting any KR? How much worse was the weather this time?
Next time let the truck cool way down and slip the belt off. <img src="https://ls1tech.com/threads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Make sure your batteries good though. <img src="https://ls1tech.com/threads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
