Default Took a chance on this Jegs 3" dual dual muffler and it sounds great

Ive had a speed engineering exhaust on my truck now for around 6 years, and as much as I love scaring the elderly and waking my neighbors up at 6am, I decided to tone it down a hair. I took my chances with this Jegs muffler, which had the right price, but no reiews online. I am super happy with the combo. Figured I'd share this with you all, in case anyone found themselves in a similar situation. Heres my setup and costs.

Pacesetter Long Tubes PAC72C2265 - $399
Speed Engineering Dual 3" Exhaust w/ X-Pipe - 25-1006+07+03 - $419.99
Jegs Dual 3" Inlet/ Outlet Turbo Muffler - 555-30345 - $121.42

These are the prices I paid and included shipping. I cut the mufflers off, which came with the speedengineering system and welded in the jegs Muffler (which can also be clamped on).

That does sound pretty decent without load

Is it baffled? Packed? Both? Looks like it's probably a packed body, so curious to hear how it "breaks" in for you

Here’s a couple pics for you. The jegs muffler is a straight through x design and appears to be a fiberglass packed body. I’ll also toss in a pic of the old mufflers.

That's a good bit cheaper than a comparable Magnaflow muffler in the same form factor. Thanks for the video.
