Default Too loud

Well....
I just had duals installed on my '00 Silvy (using a Magnaflow w/ Magnaflow tips). Sounds deccent, but a little too loud for the wife.

Is it possible to add another Magnaflow (in-line) to "tone-down" things a bit??

Try that, or go ahead and get cheap, and try dynomax ultra flo race bullet mufflers, they'll help a lil too. Depends on how much more you need to quiet it down. The bullets are like 30 bucks a pop. they'll act like an inline resonator on imports. they use it to reduce resonance, etc.... put it before the muffler if possible

Try putting in a resonator before the muffler, that should take care of the droning and give more even tone. You can get one from maganaflow
