Angry Tired of my GIBSON!!!!!

I am tired of my gibson exhaust. as soon as i get back in town i am buying a nelson tune and i want to totally redo my exhaust. all i have now is my gibson cat back super truck exhaust. i plan on buying long tubes soon too so what direction should i go?? what muffler should i buy?? i want my 5.3 to be loud and proud.

I bet your truck would sound sik with long tubes no cats and teh exhaust you have right now. Loud mufflers that resonate get anooying after awhile

Wait until you get the headers on before changing the cat-back. The sound will change with the headers. The resonation will virtually go away. I still get a little when it is first started with the wife car on the passengers side. Anyway, you may change your mind once the headers go on.

headers will change the note just a tad. how loud do you want it?

Yep Magnaflow or DynoMax if you like it loud. And you WILL notice a difference, at least I did. I picked up 3 tenths in the 1/4 but the baffles inside mine came loose. Went wide open and never looked back..Zed

the gibson is alright in the lower rpms but when i get on it, it seems to get a lot quieter. i want something loud all the time. i used to have flowmaster 40s on my 2 door tahoe but i got tired of those fast, seems like everyone has em
