Default Tips for getting rocker studs out

I have stud-mounted Crane rockers, and some of the studs won't come out of the heads. Anyone got any tips for removing the ones that are stuck in there pretty good?

Double nut them and see if that will work.

Some washers and a left handed thread nut? Put the washer on and then turn the left-handed thread against them. Later

If all else fails double-nut it and hit the top nut with a couple of tack-welds....it'll come out then

Put the head in the freezer for a couple of hours. This will do two things - contract the metal and really get the old lady going.

I'll try the double-nut thing. I'm not planning on pulling the heads and unfortunately the whole engine doesn't fit in the freezer.
